Healing Inside Out Yoga Workshop

This class is for women that have experienced any form of abuse/violence/trauma.
Join us! Yoga is an effective therapy for healing, particularly for traumatic experiences that impact the body and mind. This yoga workshop will address the impact of trauma on our bodies as well as our mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. You will learn various breathing (Pranayama) exercises to calm the mind, reduce anxiety and enhance sleep. You will also have the opportunity to partake in a trauma-sensitive yoga class where the instructor is trained on sensitivity and addressing the needs of those that have experiences with any type of trauma.

Asha W. Sims, LPC, CH, Reiki Master, RYT-200 is a Holistic Wellness Practitioner and Wellness Life Coach. She is a Licensed Therapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Yoga instructor, Reiki Master as well as an Integrative Reflexologist. Asha is also Chakra Therapist utilizing the body’s energy centers to assess health and wellness. Asha has had intensive training in using the Chakra system to assist in healing mentally, physically, and spiritually. Asha believes in promoting wellness and prevention of illness through holistic approaches. Maintaining a healthy balance of the mind, body and spirit is the key to holistic health!
